Structural racism still exists in American capitalism and its underlying structures.
It is important that we at Evolution, as members of business communities in multiple markets, strive to be anti-racist. We are not a black-owned business, so we must be allies - not only in thoughts and words, but in values, actions and deeds. 
Black-owned businesses have been harmed the most by Covid-19, and the number of working black business owners has fallen by 40% versus last year. Evolution pledges to help in any way we can - by spreading awareness, by speaking up when we should, and by putting our money where our mouth is. 
Evolution is now offering services to black-owned businesses in Michigan, free-of-charge.  It is the least we can do, and we promise it is only a first step. 
As we continue to grow our business we will ask questions, we will listen and we will learn how to be the best allies we can be to the black business community.
